We help kids become Life Ready.™
Teacher Professional Development Program K-12
We all know people that are well-educated, yet flounder at work. Or are unhappy. Or don’t get along with others. In such cases, something other than academic ability is plainly missing.
Research shows that, at best, academic credentials provide only 50% of what we need for overall life success and happiness. The abilities to manage our behavior, work well with others and persevere through difficulty are both learnable and necessary.
At Resilience, Inc. we’ve developed a comprehensive, vertically-aligned K-12 teacher development program to bridge this gap. Giving your child these tools will make their formative years easier and provide groundwork for a more successful, productive adult life. Our entire focus is creating people that are Life Ready.™
SEL Training for Teachers
Comprehensive. Research-based. Impactful.
Tennis balls are amazing! They bounce back hundreds of times no matter what comes their way and just keep on keeping on. They’re resilient because they’re built to be.
Study after study testifies to the power of teaching emotional skills to children. Research has demonstrated how doing so lowers anxiety, improves academic performance, lowers interpersonal conflict and increases ability to advance on the job.
Our Life Ready™ curriculum provides an organized way to teach kids the life skills they need to succeed both now and in the future. Our program helps to improve emotional intelligence, self awareness and student motivation when it’s most critical, in K-12 education. The evidence is overwhelming; teaching emotional skills pays dividends in many ways.
What are the benefits of Social Emotional Learning?
Providing children with social emotional skills helps them to adapt to the life changes and stresses that will come their way. SEL training has been proven to help children improve their coping skills, relationships, behavioral skills and academic performance.
