About Us
Our company helps teach the value of how to think versus what to think. This change of values increases children’s ability to socialize with their peers, behaviors become more acceptable and negative ones fade out. Humans learn more I’m their childhood than they do at any other period of their life. Therefore it seems extremely important that ELS is taught at a younger age. This will help our children help create a better world than the ones of their guardians.
Program Targets
Our program is designed for a wide variety of age groups; preschool through the first year of middle school, and different economic and racial backgrounds; poor,middle class, upper class, Latino,Caucasian, American Indian, and African-American U.S. children.
Beliefs
Humans are social creatures and we rely deeply on others as a source of happiness and love. We have evolved to be able to control our emotions and feel genuine sympathy for others and what they are suffering with. If we can properly teach the younger generation these skills in a supportive and thoughtful way, it will prepare them for the future and on their way to create a better one. We believe that if children are academically taught early on how to handle their emotions and not be physically or emotionally violent, they will have an easier time in the upcoming years of development.
Program Overview
Our lessons come in multiple forms of activity ranging from games to puppet shows. These types of activity are designed to develop children’s ability to solve problems while interacting with other children. We also design a specific program for each grade level.
Our lessons would take place a minimum of 3-4 times per week taking place over the next 4-5 months. In order for every child to be able to participate in the lessons, preschool and kindergarten classes will have no more than 10 students per instructor due to common behaviors with this age range. Everything after first grade will have a higher class minimum.
Home Connections
Any parent are guardian are welcomed to participate with their children during the lessons. This provides both the parents the ability to help teach their child about emotional learning, and the child the comforting presence of their caretaker. Studies show that children whose guardians are there to participate have a higher chance of success in the program than those that do not.

SEL also has a history of boosting academic accomplishments. Children who participate in SEL have a better chance on positive test scores in both elementary classes and middle school classes.
